In this third project of the semester for our ELD Challenge Course, students conducted research regarding an issue around the topic of The Natural World. They were tasked with creating an informational Google Site to inform their selected audience about problems of global sustainability.  They were to select a focus on one of the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: 13 Climate Action, 14 Life Below Water, or 15 Life on Land.  Their challenge was to research and present problems and solutions of sustainability within the natural world.  In teams or individually, they were to select a current issue that they perceived as affecting of one or more of the aforementioned UNSDGs.  They were provided with instructions and support using this Natural Resources Google Slideshow.  They were to conduct further research and organize their findings on this Natural World Google Site Graphic Organizer.

This is our Natural World Google Site, which contains links to all resources for the project and students’ finished Google Sites.  Students were very proud of their sites and shared them with each other through screencasts.
